Neurotoxins
Neurotoxins like Botox® and Dysport® are used to relax the facial muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles, creating a smoother, more youthful appearance. Quick, minimally invasive, and with little to no downtime, neurotoxins offer natural-looking results that can last up to four months.

Pretreatment Care InstructionsInform your provider if you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, as you may be at risk of another eruption due to the needle punctures. Ask for advice on antiviral therapy. Consuming alcoholic beverages 24 hours before or after treatment may contribute to extra bruising/bleeding. Do not apply irritating products to the treatment area 2-3 days before or after treatment (retinol, tretinonin, glycolic acid) Avoid the use of aspirin, NSAIDS, flax oil, cod liver oil, vitamins A and E for one week before and after treatment as they will increase the risk for bruising/bleeding. Please do not wear make-up. Arrive with a clean face. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment. Wait a minimum of 2 weeks before a laser treatment. Ice and antihistamines the first few days can help with the initial swelling.
